English Three
I just finished writing an essay about Social Responsibility. When my teacher introduced the subject I'll admit I panicked. I thought, "It's the second day of this class and they're already giving us a two page writing assignment, oh shit." But I just started writing it at about 9:00pm and it was due at 12:00am tonight. Hah. I finished it in twenty five minutes. Granted, it was the rough draft but still it was a simple enough paper. Honestly, I probably be sleeping but I'm not tired and my mom took my Tylenol PM away from me for a few days. So instead I'm up at 1:30am with school tomorrow morning blogging, listening to A Day to Remember, and talking to other crazy students who are still awake. Actually I just drew/wrote a huge list of my top 40 favorite screamo/indie/hardcore/punk/whatever-you-want-to-call-it bands. It's very pretty. It is written in marker and has pretty drawings in colored pencil behind it. I'll make a post with the bands. We had an ice day yesterday and a two-hour late start today. Gotta love the Iowa winter conditions. An entire night and morning with freezing rain. Wednesday, I woke up at 11:00am, read Deadly Little Secrets by Laurie Faria Stolarz, watched two different cheap horror movies I'd never heard of on cable, and geeked out on the Xbox 360 the majority of the afternoon. Thank technology for Xbox Live. Played on Live with my friend Cameron at first, then with David and his friends. It sounds boring to any other sixteen year old teenage girl but, god, I didn't want to get off that Xbox 360 that night. Then the following morning we had a two-hour late start. It was great. Well I honestly should be getting to sleep. There's only so much a caffeine pill and a cup of coffee can do for a teenager in the morning. So at 1:48am I'll be signing off. Good night!
